Rewilding
Over the past year, I have volunteered at a rewilding project near Slapton, where I developed a strong seasonal understanding of rewilding practices and ecosystem management. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in supporting diverse habitats, enhancing biodiversity, and managing land in ways that benefit a wide range of species. I have learned how to create functional outdoor spaces that work in harmony with nature, ensuring that any intervention contributes positively to the health of the environment rather than compromising it. Alongside this, I have also explored traditional land management techniques, understanding how time-tested methods can be used to support and restore natural systems in a sustainable and meaningful way.
