A SPACE FOR CHANGE
Saturday 29th August - Sunday 30th August @ Swim to sauna, Loddiswell. Arrive from 1300, with the main talk/ discussion starting at 1500
Come along for a family-friendly gathering of mixed generations, sharing one thing in common: Home.
Adi (AJ's) and I, Jess, are two people with a big concern. It appears that most things around us are changing rapidly, and not for the better. We are aware that this is a broad topic that many of us are discussing, and rightly, as this isn't a time to bury our heads in the sand.
We have all seen it in the news: the climate is changing, food systems too, and for a while it was something across the globe, not on our front door. But now it has localised; daily obstacles are becoming more challenging, food prices are increasing, quality is decreasing, and individually these issues are hard to overcome. But together we can do anything (we built this town...)
There are so many of you with amazing skills and knowledge, and right now, we need you, your town needs you, and you need you....
We are looking for anyone keen to help, get involved or just share the message. This gathering is a space to raise energy for the subject, as there are solutions and ways we can overcome anything. Most importantly, this is a space to gather and discuss, with like-minded, local souls. <3
We will want to lift spirits and make this gathering wonderful and hopeful; there will be a celebration of togetherness, music, good food, a sauna and hot tub, and overnight camping if you wish, at the cost of £12 per tent.
If you would like to join us, a brief confirmation will be helpful, as food and some drinks will be provided. Donations will also be gratefully received to cover the cost of the event. If you have specialised in a subject that you feel is appropriate for this topic and you would be open to sharing with us, please do so. The same goes for anyone with skills they can offer, such as musicians, artists/ makers, growers, and teachers.
We really do need you!

The rambles side of R&B
The walks are free, and anyone is welcome to join. They are slow, photography wanders, covering short distances over a long period of time, allowing those involved to devote some time to actively observing and noticing the details of the landscape we are part of. Bring a camera or a hand lens if you have one; this process involves looking, noticing, framing, and waiting for the shot, allowing the mind to slow down and remember our relationship with the land. If you are unsure, the best thing you can do is give it a try. I hope to see you there :)
